The aim of Sydney PEN, in collaboration with the other four Australian PEN Centres, is to increase the recognition of PEN's values in the writing and reading community. We want to make the voice of PEN heard both at home and abroad. A major activity of PEN is to protest to repressive governments against the harassment, imprisonment and murder of writers.
